Services for Independent Living (SIL) provides services for people with disabilities in seven Missouri counties: Audrain, Callaway, Cooper, Howard, Montgomery, and Randolph. Services include peer support, information and referral, independent living skills training, and advocacy.

SIL’s mission is to empower people with disabilities to live as independently as possible and control their own lives, and to increase opportunities and choices through direct services and community advocacy. They operate under three guiding principles: choice, control, and change.

SIL is in the midst of developing a three-year strategic plan and would like to receive input from community members and service providers throughout central Missouri. You are invited to add your voice to the discussion about service needs and priorities for people with disabilities in central Missouri at the SIL public forum.
